IMPORTANT INFORMATION On the Water Moves to the Convention Center

On the Water product demonstrations for dealers and media representatives has moved to the grounds of the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) from Lake Toho.

To accommodate more buyers and media, On the Water is now being held from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the North/South Concourse which is adjacent to the West Concourse. There are a series of ponds that are able to handle casting and non-motorized fishing vessels.

This event is open to ICAST and IFTD buyers and credentialed media only. On the Water is an excellent way for buyers and media to check out your gear, tackle and accessories.

On the Water Transportation info is as follows:

  • Shuttle service is available between 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and will run every 30 minutes.
  • There are two routes for pick-up and drop-off:
    • Shuttles will run between the OCCC West to the back of the North/South Building
    • Two coaches will cycle through the hotel route and drop-off/pick-up at the back of the North/South On the Water area.

The ICAST Cup – Industry Bass Fishing Tournament and weigh-in, sponsored by FLW, will still be held at Lake Toho.


TAKE ACTION – Make Your Plans for July 11, ICAST Super Tuesday

On Tuesday morning, FLW is sponsoring the ICAST Cup- Industry Bass Fishing Tournament on Lake Toho which is a short ride from the convention center. The weigh-in will take place at approximately 9:00 a.m. Proceeds support ASA’s angler advocacy program, Keep America Fishing. Registration information is coming soon.

Also on Tuesday morning, Florida Sportsman is partnering with ICAST to host the annual Bass & Birdies Classic golf tournament of which a portion of the proceeds will go to Keep America Fishing. Registration information is coming soon. Proceeds support ASA’s angler advocacy program, Keep America Fishing.


ICAST to Host the Marine Accessories Pavilion

The American Sportfishing Association (ASA) and the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) are again partnering to produce a Marine Accessories Pavilion located on the ICAST show floor. NMMA’s Marine Accessories Pavilion highlights the importance of boating accessories to the world’s largest recreational fishing trade show.


ICAST and IFTD are Co-Locating Again in Orlando

ICAST and IFTD are again co-locating at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. ASA and AFFTA will each manage its own trade show but will combine some functions where it makes good business sense and benefits exhibitors and show attendees, such as show registration, the show guide and having the same show hours.
