Urge Your Senators to Support S. 1955, the Health Insurance Marketplace
Modernization and Affordability Act
Please contact your Senators and urge them to support S. 1955, the Health
Insurance Marketplace Modernization and Affordability Act. S. 1955 is a significant
piece of legislation. This bill would allow for businesses and trade
associations to pool their resources to purchase health insurance for their
member companies and their employees.
What is the problem? Rising
healthcare costs are a cause for great concern. Small businesses are being
hit particularly hard, finding it increasingly difficult to provide quality
health insurance to their employees.
Why should I care? S.
1955 would allow business and trade associations to offer group health
coverage on a national or regional basis. Runaway costs are driving far
too many employers and families from comprehensive health insurance.
This is your opportunity to have an impact on this issue.
How do I get involved? Please contact your Senators and
urge them to support S. 1955, the Health Insurance Marketplace Modernization
and Affordability Act.
