Protecting Your Business Interests

The American Sportfishing Association (ASA) fosters strong relationships with Members of Congress, conservation and recreation partners and state and federal government leaders to ensure that sportfishing interests are well represented when policy decisions are made.

Advocating for Our Nation’s 60 Million Anglers

Keep America Fishing® — — is the sportfishing industry’s angler advocacy program through which anglers can engage in advocacy, sign up to receive news and alerts about issues that impact recreational fishing and show their support by voicing their opinion. Keep Florida Fishing® is ASA’s Florida-based advocacy effort to help ensure that the “Fishingest” state in the union has clean water, abundant fisheries and access to both.

Business and Networking Opportunities

ASA produces the world’s largest trade show for the sportfishing industry. ICAST 2017 will be held July 11-14, 2017, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. This event annually hosts 15,000 representatives from the global sportfishing community.
