ICAST is Only 13 Days Away!
For exhibitors and attendees alike, now is the time to ensure that you have all your preparations made for the world’s largest recreational fishing trade show.
In this issue of Insider, we have touched on important deadlines and other information you need to know to have a successful and enjoyable ICAST experience.

TAKE ACTION – Attendee Online Registration Closes on Friday, June 30
If you are planning to attend ICAST 2017 and have yet to register for your badge – now is the time!
Attendee online registration will close at midnight, EDT, on Friday, June 30.
After that time, you will need to register onsite at the ICAST Registration Desk in the West Concourse.
Exhibitors may still use the online registration option.

ICAST has a new app for 2017. The app has many more features that will help exhibitors and attendees alike while onsite such as maps, events and exhibitors. To download the ICAST app to your smart device, visit the ICAST website www.ICASTfishing.org/app or go to iTunes or Google Play. The app is supported by Apple and Android.
Please download the new app. The ICAST 2016 will NOT be upgraded.

Government Affairs and Fisheries Policy Updates
Finally some good news about Gulf Red Snapper and ASA's position.
There will be several sessions conducted by ASA’s Government Affairs team: Navigating the Prop 65 Requirements, Government Affairs 101 and Understanding the Federal Manufacturers Excise Tax on Fishing Tackle.
Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross, with concurrence from the White House, selected Chris Oliver as Assistant Administrator for NOAA Fisheries.
