Gary Loomis founder of  G.Loomis, Inc., which he sold to Shimano American Corporation in 1997 was awarded the “Future of Fishing’ award. He then went on to be a part of several upstart fishing rod companies including Temple Fork Outfitters.

Gary founded Fish First in 1995, whose goal is the restoration of salmon runs in Loomis’s home state of Washington.
