  • Government Affairs Committee Meeting

    9:30 AM – 11:30 AM & 1 PM – 5 PM
    Dive deep into the policy priorities shaping recreational fishing and the sportfishing industry. Committee members will tackle emerging issues, refine ASA’s advocacy strategies, and prepare for productive conversations with lawmakers.

  • DC “Insider” Events for Non-Committee Members

    9:30 AM – 11:30 AM & 1 PM – 5 PM
    For those not attending the Government Affairs Committee Meeting, enjoy a set of experiences that offer a deeper look at Washington, D.C. These activities are designed to give attendees a unique, insider’s perspective on the nation’s capital while connecting with peers in an engaging and memorable way.

  • Lunch with a Lawmaker Session

    11:30 AM – 1 PM
    Share a meal and a meaningful conversation with a key Member of Congress. This intimate session offers a rare opportunity to hear candid perspectives, ask questions, and highlight the issues that matter most to our community.

  • ASA/CSF Reception at American Legion

    6 PM – 8 PM
    Wind down the day with good company and great conversation at this social gathering. Connect with peers, partners, and advocates in a classic DC setting on Capitol Hill.

TUESDAY

  • General Session Breakfast and Hill Advocacy 101

    8 AM – 9 AM
    Enjoy breakfast while hearing from DC insiders on navigating Capitol Hill and how to maximize your Congressional office visits later in the day. This discussion will help newcomers and veterans alike feel confident with the policy landscape.

  • General Session Speaker

    9 AM – 10 AM
    A deep-dive conversation with a key voice in policy or conservation — offering timely insights to prepare you for your meetings and the issues ahead.

  • Hill Meetings

    10:30 AM – 5 PM
    This is what the Fly-In is all about. Head to Capitol Hill to meet with congressional offices, share ASA’s priorities, and advocate directly for the future of fishing access, conservation, and our industry.

  • PAC 4 a Purpose Reception

    5 PM – 6 PM
    A special gathering for ASA members who support the Sportfishing PAC. Connect with fellow contributors and celebrate the impact of our collective advocacy efforts.
