ASA prides itself on being the only national trade organization that represents the entire recreational fishing industry.

The American Sportfishing Association (ASA) is the national trade group representing the interests of manufacturers, retailers and allied organizations that comprise the $50 billion recreational fishing economy. We share a stake in promoting recreational fishing as part of our national heritage – for the well-being of our businesses and American society. Together with our members, we advance legislative priorities, drive innovations and forge alliances to form a strong, collective voice.
In joining ASA, you stand together with over 900 organizations who have a vested interest in the health, growth and expansion of the recreational fishing industry. Investing in an annual membership directly impacts the programs and services that drive our industry into the future.
