  • Government Affairs Committee Meeting

    Dive deep into the policy priorities shaping recreational fishing and the sportfishing industry. Committee members will tackle emerging issues, refine ASA’s advocacy strategies, and prepare for productive conversations with lawmakers.

  • Lunch with NOAA Administrator Dr. Neil Jacobs

    Share a meal and a meaningful conversation with the head of NOAA. This intimate session offers a rare opportunity to hear candid perspectives, ask questions, and highlight the issues that matter most to our community.

    6 PM – 8 PM

    Wind down the day with good company and great conversation at this social gathering. Connect with peers, partners, and advocates in a classic DC setting on Capitol Hill. Shuttles depart from Royal Sonesta Hotel beginning at 5:00 PM.

    Enjoy breakfast while hearing from DC insiders on navigating Capitol Hill and how to maximize your Congressional office visits later in the day. This discussion will help newcomers and veterans alike feel confident with the policy landscape.

  • Hill Meetings

    10:30 AM – 5 PM

    This is what the Fly-In is all about. Head to Capitol Hill to meet with congressional offices, share ASA’s priorities, and advocate directly for the future of fishing access, conservation, and our industry. Groups will depart from hotel immediately following the plenary session.

  • Advocacy in Action Reception

    Rooftop of 601 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, D.C. Enter from Indiana St. 
    5 PM – 7 PM

    Following the day’s events, join fellow advocates and attendees for a reception at NMMA’s rooftop for light appetizers and drinks.
