At ICAST 2025, ASA President and CEO Glenn Hughes provided updates on the great work ASA is doing on behalf of the industry, broke down key stats and analytics about the domestic and international marketplaces, and gave an overview of the current political landscape with an emphasis on tariffs. This year’s audience was also treated to a surprise when Glenn presented entertainer and philanthropist Steve Harvey with the inaugural ASA Impact Award. Steve Harvey, an avid angler and host of TV’s “Family Feud,” supports outreach, mentorship programs, and initiatives through the Steve & Marjorie Harvey Foundation.
