New anglers rely heavily on in-person support from fishing tackle retailers, yet many do not receive the guidance they need to become confident, long-term participants.
In 2025, ASA collaborated with Southwick Associates to develop a research study that would hear from new, novice, and lapsed anglers to learn about the ways that they could be supported by retailers.
- What kind of information do they need?
- What events could help them stay engaged?
- What types of interactions do they want from retailers?
This webinar will detail the ways that retailers can support new and novice anglers in a manner that will keep them actively fishing.
